A Personal Note From Kevin McKee
On Wednesday, December 15, two dear friends of mine-- Joseph Donato and Inge Donato-- and myself, Kevin McKee, were found guilty on numerous counts by the united states government of not paying federal income tax. According to the united states government, we were found guilty of conspiracy and fraud for not allowing a part of our weekly wage that demands all of the people living in the united states to pay for warfare.
Joseph, Inge and myself are long-standing members of a small religious society, The Restored Israel of YAHWEH, located in Mays Landing, NJ, usa. Our stand opposing the paying for war was begun in 1948 by our founder and mentor Leo J. Volpe who has since passed away on April 13, 2000. The beautiful, spiritual example taught and understood regarding the living GOD'S purpose for the obedient and righteous hearted men and woman of the earth has made it very clear that all life is to be cherished, no matter who you are. We are taught through the Scriptures that life is a precious gift from our Heavenly FATHER.
This very stand is the right of all the living and no man has the right to take another man's life and for people to pay to have this heartless atrocity committed on another, others that they know nothing about and have never met is one of mankind's most selfish, irresponsible acts that one could do to another.
To the people of this world that are suffering the horrible effects of war, the loss of your loved ones, the mental and physical effects and emotions, the hopelessness and the complete failure from man's ruthless behavior towards his fellow man-- let it be known to you that you are not alone. There are people, millions of us, all over the earth that are suffering with you. I hope that the firm stand we are making against war here in the united states and knowing that we are going to be put in jail for this cause brings you some comfort and hope that the Living GOD has a beautiful Purpose. Psalm 37:10,11: "For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."
