Why should the LORD’S (YAHWEH’S) People,
who are Israel alone (The Restored Israel of YAHWEH),
pay a war tax (federal income tax) to solve an insolvable problem,
for all nations are doomed to utter destruction (Isa. 34:1,2, R.S.V.)

    federal income tax began in england in 1799 as a temporary war measure.  In the united states, "the first federal income tax was imposed in 1862 to meet Civil War expenditures."¹ This was later held to be unconstitutional by the supreme court, but the tax was restored in 1913 through a constitutional amendment.  During world war two (1943), the u.s. began their present-day withholding method of tax collection.  federal income tax began as a means of financing wars and it continues to be just that today.  The association of income tax with war in the u.s. can be seen in the major trends that it has taken.  During world war one there were sharp increases in income tax rates.  After the war, rates went down and exemptions were increased, but this was followed by drastic rate increases of this same federal tax as world war two arrived.  Again rates were decreased after the war, but in 1950-53 the korean war brought about a need for increased rates.  There is a direct correlation between war and federal income tax.  A study of the federal budget shows that a minimum of eighty percent of the money collected from federal income tax is spent on national defense.  This money goes for producing bombs, guns and nuclear arms, to maintaining a huge standing army, providing military assistance to foreign countries, researching and developing weapons, paying the cost of past and present wars and so on.  Payment of this tax results in the taking of innocent lives and actually condones warfare.  A detailed account of the figures for the 2003 budget will be presented later in this article.
    YAHWEH,² the Almighty GOD, has commanded in Exodus 20:13:

    Those who feel that patriotism or defense of one’s country is a reason for killing should keep in mind that "friendship with the world is enmity with God" (James 4:4, R.S.V.).  This means that to be a part of this world or any nation of this world is putting yourself in direct opposition to YAHWEH.  The True Israel of Promise⁴ knows that all these nations belong to satan the devil (Luke 4:5-8), and, in fact, that he is the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:3,4; 1 John 5:19, R.S.V.).  This is why YAHWEH tells us that HE "is enraged against all the nations, and furious against all their host, He has doomed them, has given them over for slaughter" (Isa. 34:2, R.S.V.).  Do not confuse the GODless wars of today with wars that YAHWEH sanctioned when HE was dealing with HIS People, the israel of old.  These served as types and examples and have their fulfillment with the True Israel of Promise in these last days.  As for today, "we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12, R.S.V.).  Because we know these things, and recognize that this is satan’s world, we also realize that fighting for this world, or any one country of this world, is fighting for satan’s system.  By obeying satan you become his servant.  (See Romans 6:16.) Yahshua tells us in Matthew 6:24 that no one can serve two masters and when the issue arises in Israel, Israel always obeys GOD rather than men.  A choice must be made as to whether we obey YAHWEH’S commands or the world’s demand for money to finance their wars.  Acts 5:29, R.S.V., states:

We must obey God rather than men.

Therefore we do not take part in, or finance any GODless slaughter, neither any preparation for such.  Please understand we are not speaking of a personal threat to our lives or those of our family by a would-be robber or someone who is threatening violence against us.  Under these circumstances we would most certainly protect ourselves. 
    YAHWEH’S New Nation, Israel, realizes that Yahshua is our reigning King and that we must obey Him as our higher authority.  In Matthew 22:15-22, R.S.V., Yahshua speaks concerning the payment of taxes to the head of state (or the federal government). Verse 15:

As we can see, Yahshua left the decision up to the individual’s conscience.  Those who look to caesar as everything, render unto caesar.  Israel, however, fully understands how totally corrupt, filthy and GODless caesar really is.  Many wars are fought solely for commercial prestige, and for this many young, innocent boys, as well as men and women, lose their lives.  To add insult to the pain, the fact remains that each time a war is fought the economy flourishes.  big business is able to make tremendous profits by these blood baths.  commerce, or big business, has directly or indirectly been responsible for the deaths of untold millions.  Any system that will prosper only during a war is sick, sick, sick!  How much more proof of the complete failure of their system than man killing man.  The only thing man can brag about is that he has perfected the ability to destroy himself!  Israel, unlike the heathen, understands that to kill a man in war is to kill a man.  Israel will not take the life of another human creature nor pay for any mercenaries, be they weapons or men.  Paying into the federal income tax is murder by proxy.
    To cite an analogy, world war two brought the world out of a depression.  Thousands of jobs were created to fulfill the wartime need for guns, tanks, bombs, ammunition and so on.  Millions of people were put to work destroying cities and killing one another, thousands more burying the dead and rebuilding the bombed cities.  And where did all the money come from to keep this kill, destroy and rebuild cycle going?  Certainly not from big business who add far more than the cost of the tax to their contract and wind up with stupendous illegal profits.  These big businessmen are making windfall profits on inflated government contracts.  Certainly the money does not come from the churches, although their profits are nearly limitless, but this they keep for themselves.  However, the clergy are required to pay their share of the federal tax.  These in their willfully ignorant way go on to bless the war effort.  With only one choice left, you may look in the mirror—you, the working sucker whose taxes go into the federal treasury and into the hands of the most selfish, callous and totally corrupt men to walk the face of the earth, those who run the military industrial complex.  These are the men who sell weapons to both sides, the big shots who produced inferior ammunition, as was practiced during the vietnam war, so as to increase their already bloated profits.  All this was done at the expense of human lives—not theirs mind you, but the lives of young, deceived members of their respective nations.  YAHWEH sums it all up in Ezekiel 28:16 which states:

    The Bible records another instance concerning taxes in Matthew 17:24-27, R.S.V.  The tax collectors asked Peter if his Teacher pays the tax and Peter replied that He does.  Yahshua instructed Peter to "go to the sea and cast a hook, and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel; take that and give it to them for me and for yourself."  If we look into the tax, called the half-shekel tax, we find that it was a tax that the jews paid for the upkeep of the temple.  This was money paid for the upkeep of their place of worship.  Payment of this half-shekel tax was entirely different from payment of taxes to caesar (the federal government) which today uses the federal income tax primarily for war and destruction.  This tax is certainly a reproach to YAHWEH’S Name.
    Romans Thirteen teaches that we must pay "taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due..." (Rom. 13:7, R.S.V.).  Of course we must do this.  As Members of YAHWEH’S New Nation, The Restored Israel, we pay taxes for such things as upkeep of roads we drive on and for the use of the police force which, if they choose to answer our calls, aids us in controlling their own biased citizens who attempt to harm us.  We pay for the services that we make use of, but if a tax is clearly being used for murder, we will not pay it.
    The Members of The Restored Israel of YAHWEH follow the entire Bible and sincerely try to do as it teaches.  Therefore, we do not pay federal income tax.  A tax is actually a payment for a service rendered. Killing of innocent and deceived people whose political views are different from those of the u.s. is not a service we want rendered.  For this we are persecuted and threatened with jail.  This is more proof that this is satan’s world, for where else would someone be imprisoned for refusing to contribute to the death of their fellow men!  We know that YAHWEH’S Kingdom on earth (Matt. 6:10) is being founded today and that since this present system belongs to satan, it must be destroyed.  This destruction will come about through a nuclear war (Zech. 14:12,13,15) in which two thirds of men will die (Zech. 13:8,9).  Matthew 24:21,22 states:

21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:  but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

3.  National aeronautics and space administration — "Much space research is undertaken with an eye to develop military hardware, but the item is not listed in the budget as defense."⁶  The total to be spent for this program will be $15.1 billion.  We used a figure of 75 percent of this total due to the fact that not all is for military use.  This 75 percent equals $11.3 billion.

    It is plain to see that after every major war there is a drastic increase in the public debt.  Maurice Blanken, in "A Budget Chart Can Tell Lies," says "Another insatiable cost of wars is rising interest payments on the national debt.  Inasmuch as its major cause has been a failure to finance our wars on a pay-as-you-go basis (a well nigh impossibility) ought we not to assess net interest payments as defense costs?"⁸  From these facts it can be positively said that a certain amount of the interest paid on the public debt must be attributed to war.  A moderate figure to choose would be eighty percent of the interest, in this case $282.5 billion.  If we add this to the $555.6 billion already accounted for, we reach a total of $838.1 billion.  Remember that the amount collected from federal income tax will be $1 trillion, 6.4 billion.  So we can see that more than 80 percent of federal income is used for war.  The fact is, if there were no income tax money, there would be no war money.
    Other taxes, such as social insurance taxes, excise, estate and gift taxes make up the rest of the budget.  These pay for such things as welfare, education and other services which do not pay directly for murder but which The Restored Israel of YAHWEH will begin to analyze and undoubtedly remove some of these also from our budget.  federal income tax is primarily a war tax, and if you pay this, you must take responsibility for its use.
    These are the facts.  Man has never produced a weapon he has not used and, in competing with the other countries for a nuclear stockpile, has produced the ability for complete annihilation.  Only those truly devoted to YAHWEH and under HIS protection will survive the final war.  Concerning these people, Psalm 24:3-5 states:

The Restored Israel of YAHWEH’S hands are clean; they do not pay this blood tax.
    With the enlightened information added in these last days, we may expect to find confusion in the minds of most Bible scholars because of the apparent inconsistencies found in the teachings of the Apostles as compared to The Restored Israel of YAHWEH.  We must remember that in those days taxation was handled in a very different manner.  Nothing was specific.  All taxes for whatever use were bundled as one, and the layman did not truly know where his tax was going to be used, whether for military or civilian use, much less did they know of how much of what went where.  And although the Holy Spirit was definitely poured upon the Apostles, they lived before the beginning of YAHWEH’S Kingdom which had its start in A.D. 1917 which is the end of the 6,000 years and the beginning of Yahshua’s One Thousand Year Reign.  And YAHWEH did not burden them with such specifics which in these last days are understood to be in open violation of YAHWEH’S Laws (by financing satan’s wars) and which would prevent us from giving our full allegiance to YAHWEH and to HIS Kingdom because, truthfully speaking, in financing these wars we would have blood on our hands.  In these last days, the taxes which people pay are divided toward their specific service, and The Restored Israel of YAHWEH who alone are HIS People and who urgently want to meet with HIS approval in every way have delved into this information and have been able to separate the taxes between what are absolutely unGODly and therefore forbidden to pay and those taxes which really render us a service.  And the True LORD’S People, by careful scrutiny, have found that nearly the entire amount of the federal income tax is a tax for warfare, which said warfare will bring absolutely no good to the people but will actually bring about the death of two thirds of the earth’s population in the nations’ final effort to solve their misguided dilemma.  This will be the end of this world (system of things) as promised by Yahshua, our Lord and King (Matt. 24:3, 14).
