YAHWEH'S Restored Israel Church

Members of Yahweh's Restored Israel have been collecting food donations at area grocery stores since August of 2008.  This effort will be ongoing.  Please watch for us at your local food store where your donation can be added to your neighbors' to make a big difference in people's lives.  Please remember that hunger is a year-round problem.

Hunger is a symptom of poverty.  More than 1 in 10 households in the United States is "food insecure" which means that these households don't have access to enough food for an active, healthy life on a  consistent basis. 

Nearly one million people in the state of New Jersey alone are at risk of hunger, and more than half of them are children, elderly, or disabled. 

Our current food drive is being conducted with the cooperation of area grocery stores who are allowing volunteers to stand outside their stores appealing to customers for food donations, with the customers generously donating extra cans, and even bags of food.  The generosity and goodwill being demonstrated are very uplifting to see.  To date, over 40,000 pounds of food have been donated to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey and local church food banks! 

Encouraged by this success, we are hoping to do more by combining this effort with those of others.  If you would like to volunteer, your help would be much needed and appreciated.  In this spirit, we would also like to extend an invitation to your church to help in this work and collect food for your food pantry.   If you are interested in being part of this much-needed work, please contact us.
