Romans Thirteen

The Prophet Jeremiah Separates the Precious From the Vile
as Commanded by YAHWEH (Jeremiah 15:19)

The subject of this article is the thirteenth chapter of Romans, verses 1-7. The knowledge given in these verses is challenged by The Restored Israel of YAHWEH¹ because they allude to the fact that every governing authority is instituted by YAHWEH and that HE is responsible for all of the chaos and misery that these rulers bring upon the earth. On the contrary, YAHWEH is all wise and all loving and that is why HE is going to bring this system--a system which satan the devil is god over (2 Cor. 4:3, 4; 1 John 5:19)--to a complete end. Isaiah 34:2, Revised Standard Version (R.S.V.), states:

For the LORD [YAHWEH] is enraged against all the nations, and furious against all their host, he has doomed them, has given them over for slaughter.

What we see is an apparent inconsistency in YAHWEH'S Word, the Bible, for, on the one hand, Romans Thirteen says to obey the governing authorities, for they are instituted by GOD. But, on the other hand, Acts 5:29, R.S.V., states:

We must obey God rather than men.

And Paul corrects the Members of Israel when he writes in First Corinthians Six concerning the fact that Members of Israel were going to court against other Members, and instead of relying on the justice of YAHWEH, they took their cases to the demonized courts and allowed these authorities to make the final judgment on these matters. 1 Corinthians 6:1-6:

1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

For this reason, The Restored Israel of YAHWEH has delved into the thirteenth chapter of Romans, endeavoring to clarify what they believe is an unjust teaching wherein it states that every governing authority is instituted by YAHWEH.

YAHWEH has permitted this incorrect information to appear in HIS Word, but HE gives us HIS Prophets in order to correct this. This is fitting. Just as the Prophets are the ones to interpret the prophecies, so it is the Prophets who would have the authority, by the intervention of YAHWEH'S Holy Spirit, to correct and set right anything that is incorrect.

In Jeremiah 15:19, YAHWEH gives HIS Prophet, Jeremiah, the mission to separate the precious from the vile--that which is correct and pleasing to YAHWEH from that which is wrong and does not honor our All-righteous FATHER. Mistakes have been made, and Jeremiah, through YAHWEH'S Holy Spirit, has not only the authority to correct them, but also the duty to do this.

The writing of the Book of Romans is attributed to the Apostle Paul. Yet it does not seem logical that an Apostle such as Paul, with the great knowledge and spirit that he possessed, would put into writing something that Israel today considers untrue. Paul may have been writing to a lowly bunch of Israelites who were doing a lot wrong. He may have tried to put a fear of the law into them in an effort to change their misconduct. Still, he should not stoop to bringing out untruths in order to correct or punish them. In addition, this is not consistent with Paul's other writings, such as Titus Three and especially First Corinthians Six.

Possibly Paul did not even write this. Another hand may have mettled here and put in their own views. Whatever the case, the information is incorrect, and Jeremiah, as commanded by YAHWEH, has separated the precious from the vile to bring out the truth concerning Romans Thirteen.

Verse 1:

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Israel does not tell the world what to do or what not to do. Therefore verse 1 should read: "Let all of True Israel be submissive to the worldly authorities above you and this as long as YAHWEH permits them to remain and as long as these authorities do not cause you to violate your conscience in your obedience and your service to your GOD YAHWEH," requirements which all of True Israel must meet, otherwise there would exist no issue and we would all follow satan, for all authority now in existence in this world is merely permitted to operate until their allotted time expires, for YAHWEH did not place these men in their respective positions as HIS appointed rulers. The present rulers of this world will be allowed to continue for a short while longer until all of HIS people learn firsthand the agony of disobedience.

However, these worldly rulers have been created in YAHWEH'S image. This means that they have been created with HIS primary attributes. YAHWEH'S primary attributes are love, justice, wisdom and power. Many of the worldly rulers try to employ these attributes in their service to the nation of their choice even though they do not understand the Will of YAHWEH, the GOD of Israel and the CREATOR of the entire universe.

Verse 2:

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation [judgment].

Israel cannot take this verse seriously because this world belongs to satan the devil and YAHWEH is not responsible for the derangement in the present system. When anyone states that these ordinances are ordained by YAHWEH, it is an insult to our GOD. How can anyone dare to affront HIM?

Verse 3:

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same.

Generally speaking, there is some truth in this verse. However, can these worldly rulers correctly distinguish a good work from an evil? If they truly could, they would of necessity come over to Israel and serve the only True GOD, YAHWEH.

A case in point which helps to clarify this issue is when one of the neighbors and his buddy became enraged at The Restored Israel of YAHWEH for proposing the building of a sawmill on Israel's property. They took the law in their own hands and crossed over the property line several times cursing and using the vilest terms, the neighbor crossing over the line with a loaded revolver and his buddy stating that there would be blood splattered all over and that they would rape our women on our (Israel's) living room floor. The case was put on hold for six months at the end of which time our neighbor received no punishment for his part in violating the lawful ordinance of the community. His buddy, the would-be hero in this case, could not contain himself, and his bitterness towards Israel manifested itself again.

When one of our Members who was driving a Volkswagon pickup endeavored to pass the slow-moving vehicle of this individual, he pressed on the accelerator so that his truck kept abreast of the very limited-powered Volkswagon, and this continued until both vehicles reached the speed limit and until our Member was heading directly into an oncoming car. He was forced to apply the brakes frantically in order to swerve out of the path of this vehicle and fall behind this truck to avoid a head-on collision. It should be added that our Member had his four-year-old child in his Volkswagon while this was all happening. For careless driving and because he had not desisted from his former lawless behavior, he was fined five hundred dollars, given a one-year suspended sentence and put on probation for one year.

Let the reader bear in mind that both incidents were life threatening; neither man served any time in jail. These acts Israel judges as evil, and no level-minded and righteous-hearted individual would contest this judgment.

By contrast, the Members of The Restored Israel of YAHWEH are a nonviolent group, a dedicated people who earnestly seek out the Will of YAHWEH in order that they may obey HIM and meet with HIS approval. YAHWEH has commanded us to warn the unbelievers of this world that in the near future a confrontation will take place between the two superpowers that will result in the death of two thirds of the earth's population. And it will be our preaching that will be instrumental for the salvation of the one third. These will survive the nuclear holocaust. One half of the two thirds that will die will be made up of innocent children whose parents have not accepted the truth of the Understanding that YAHWEH gives to Israel, mental patients and those afflicted with senility. Regardless of the guilt or innocence of the ones that live, Israel is forbidden to shed blood or to pass any final judgment on anyone. It is for this reason that Israel, YAHWEH'S Nation, will not pay the war tax cleverly disguised as the federal income tax. True, the tax is based on the income of the poor and the middle class, but on the filthy rich corporations, income has no bearing on it, for they have devised ways, ways accepted by the i.r.s., to get around it.

The Earthly Leader of The Restored Israel of YAHWEH received a summons to appear before Stanley S. Brotman, federal judge, at the united states federal courthouse in camden, n.j. on October 20, 1978. YAHWEH'S appointed Prophet announced to the news media that he would not appear. They paid no attention to this statement, and when the day of the court trial arrived and there was no answer when his name was called, a bench warrant was immediately issued for his arrest.

When the f.b.i. arrived at his house, he was not to be found, for YAHWEH had instructed him to flee to western canada, for he would not be able to bear the events that were to take place in his life--the major thing being the death of his wife, although he did not know it beforehand. She passed away just sixty-four days after he left the country. He had expressed to Israel many times that he would not have been able to bear to see her in death and have lived to tell about it. YAHWEH knew this, therefore HE had him removed far away to edmonton in canada.

The f.b.i. and the local police with their dogs were hounding the place to flush out this man whom they (according to their conduct) regarded as an escaped Dillinger.

The Members of The Restored Israel of YAHWEH deeply resented this animalistic behavior of these officials whom the ruling authorities had sent to capture this man in any way that they thought necessary. When they finally did pick him up, better than four years later, they surrounded the house holding M-16 rifles and were fully prepared to use them, as one of our Members, who was a vietnam veteran and had been visiting at the time of the arrest, noticed not only the make of the gun but that one of the federal marshals cocked it, engaging it for use. This thing they did to a wholly consecrated man of GOD who was totally dedicated to doing HIS Will, one who had never and will never physically harm anyone.

When he was dragged before a black-robed umpire who was seated at the bench for setting the bail (for whom incidentally he did not rise to acknowledge the entrance of this willfully ignorant elected official), the prosecuting attorney reasoned that the bail should be set at five million dollars. However, the presumptuousness of the umpire at the bench was only one-fifth that of the prosecuting attorney, and bail was set at one million. According to the reasoning of these officials, this man must have been a very dangerous individual, for actually many murderers are released with one fourth of this amount.

By YAHWEH'S intervention another federal judge was assigned the case and YAHWEH softened his heart, and the sentence he passed upon him was a total of four months which was about the least that the law prescribes.

Even so this judge, who is one of the chief judges in satan's organization, will certainly have to answer to YAHWEH for sentencing YAHWEH'S Chief Earthly Judge at all. The only way that he can do this and be accepted by YAHWEH is for him to first surrender his authority given to him as a judge and a punisher of those who break the laws of this GODless system, learn YAHWEH'S Purpose for mankind and proceed to instruct all who will hear in the ways of righteousness wherein YAHWEH will eliminate all rivalry and all wrongdoing from the face of this entire planet. If he does not allow himself to become motivated by the Truth, this stint with YAHWEH will be his last.

It must be remembered that YAHWEH is almighty and all wise. HE can soften or harden the hearts of anyone whom HE chooses--to either draw him to HIM or reject and cast him out. Dealing in this manner with individuals does not make this world system HIS, for this world is of satan and YAHWEH is calling HIS People, the righteous hearted, to come out of this babylonish (or confused) system.

The Will of YAHWEH and the dos and don'ts as outlined by HIM in HIS Holy Word through HIS Holy Spirit often directly clash head-on with the acceptable and unacceptable recorded in the laws of these existing nations. What is often considered good and honorable in the eyes of this world is often evil in the eyes of YAHWEH, and what is considered criminal in the eyes of this world would bring praise from YAHWEH, such as full allegiance to YAHWEH and the performance of certain work that would be required of HIS People to do if they are to attain HIS blessings.

Members of The Restored Israel of YAHWEH were arrested for not sending their children to school. They instructed them at home in order to keep them from the evil and the lies taught by the government-approved school system. The blasphemy and idiocy of the so-called theory of evolution which teaches that forms of life, life which was always surrounded by degrading gases and diluting liquids, were suddenly able to exist and develop in this always-hostile environment and even acquired the ability to reproduce themselves.

The last portion of verse 3 closes with these words: "Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same." This no doubt means your moral behavior towards your fellow man: do not steal; do not hate or falsely accuse your neighbor; do not swindle your neighbor; pay promptly to anyone what is due them; return what you borrow immediately after using it. Procrastinating in fulfilling any of these deals or paying what you owe indicates an indifferent, lazy and selfish attitude which you are allowing to dominate you. This behavior irritates, nay, even exasperates, those with whom you have dealings. Good advice. But should it have to be given to True Israel? Well perhaps, to some at times. If we do not incense people by violating these vital codes of behavior, for the most part, people will speak favorably of us.

Verse 4:

For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

For he is as the minister of GOD because of the attributes created in him and if he chooses to employ them or if he decides in his own mind whether or not you are worthy of protective justice. What went on during the black march for justice and equality (something that is guaranteed by the constitution to all americans) in the south during the sixties was a national disgrace, especially for a christian nation (if that really changes anything). The nearly total biasness, the injustices, the cruelties administered by the dominant white race could only be influenced by the god of this world, satan the devil. This was a living and vivid case of the so-called ministers of GOD in action when they did not choose to employ these attributes of YAHWEH created in them and decided on their own that the blacks were indeed not worthy of protective justice.

What is going on in south africa today is more proof that these "ministers of GOD" are in the opposite corner from where the writer of verse 4 of Romans Thirteen describes them. They are no more than selfish pigs who eat their fill (and this from the labor of the blacks). These couldn't care less whether their slaves can survive from the pittance they receive which the whites place in the category of a salary, or pay for work performed.

From the personal experience of The Restored Israel of YAHWEH, we are convinced that YAHWEH does not approve of these men nor are they by any stretch of the imagination HIS ministers.

Certainly they will punish evil, what they brand as evil. In these evil and unjust actions, YAHWEH is not even considered; no, to them HE does not even exist. If these men in authority were truly GOD'S ministers, true justice and true equality would spread equally to every nation on the face of the earth as oil poured on a still lake on a calm day. And finally what evil could be expected from True Israel (Israel who sets a standard of good behavior for all men) that a GODless worldly official would have to punish and correct.

Verse 5:

Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

True Israel is not motivated by fear of men but by the bond of consecration they make with their GOD and desiring to do all phases of HIS loving, righteous work with all of their hearts. Therefore Israel will proceed and will not give up in the performance of this work. Although we are and will continue to be submissive to all laws that do not conflict with the Will of YAHWEH, may we impress upon you this one point--that the Will of YAHWEH will be interpreted by Israel alone, and Israel is made up of those who measure up to YAHWEH'S expectations. These alone are accepted as HIS People. Through Israel's obedience to their GOD and FATHER, will these inspired prophetic words spoken by YAHWEH to the Prophet Isaiah and recorded in Isaiah 49:3 be realized: "Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified."

Israel, because of living up to this high standard, has a conscience wiped clean of guilt and sets a standard that all people must follow.

Verse 6:

For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

Israel does pay property tax to help pay the wages of the officers who are supposed to keep their citizens under control. When we are confronted with an angry or threatening individual or mob while standing on the boardwalk, we do call their officers to remove these lowly characters from before us to prevent, if possible, any violence on their part. The reaction of the police officers is a mixed reaction; some have been very polite and cooperative, others have been heard to say that if it were up to them we would not be standing on the boardwalk. And this is the way that all phases of the work will progress.

Facing the public we will meet with kindness and anger and with those who could not care less. Yes, with acceptance, rejection or indifference will be our lot until the work is finished. A word of warning to all people, those of you who will not hear and accept Israel will die for so YAHWEH has decreed, for Israel alone is doing YAHWEH'S work and Israel alone is HIS chosen Servant. It will herein be repeated that these officers are not GOD'S ministers, for to be so does require a full knowledge of YAHWEH'S Purpose for mankind. Many of these officers actually hate our message and would like to have us removed from the public eye. They are simply acting in obedience to the laws of the land and to their conscience, although some of them in their ignorance do neither.

It is common knowledge that all individuals should pay for services rendered whether these services are performed by a civilian agency or whether they are under the auspices of a government.

Verse 7:

Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

As for rendering fear: YAHWEH'S Restored Nation does fear the brutal and vindictive reactions of the forces of the heathen nations when, because of our obedience to YAHWEH, our activities come into conflict with their prescribed course and the first thing that comes to the minds of these blind leaders is "LOCK THEM UP." They have even gone so far as to break their own laws to get at us. Yes, Israel does have a measure of fear because of them, but we will never change our strict obedience to our GOD YAHWEH. And furthermore HE is with us and we will be given the absolute victory in the end.

However, regarding their own citizens, submission to a legislative enactment is absolutely essential; otherwise anarchy would prevail and the wicked would be out of control altogether and they would trample on whomever they could overcome in order to benefit themselves.

To honor is to impart respect or dignity to, the state of being excellent, worthy or honorable. Romans 13:7 is referring strictly to men of wealth, high rank or position, men of this world who have climbed to the top of the ladder by trampling on anyone who stood in their way. They greet their fallen victims with purported kindness ("howdy") and a benevolent smile which would disarm the ignorant. However, Israel, the only truly intelligent of the earth, see their glistening fangs through their smile and do all they can to avoid them.

YAHWEH, the Supreme JUDGE over all creation, settles these issues with these words recorded in Isaiah 23:8, 9 concerning tyre, the merchant city that pictures big business:

8 Who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth?
9 YAHWEH of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.

This would include all of the lofty ones of the earth, and named herein will be politics and organized religion who are also the friends of this world. James 4:4:

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Added to this list of men who would be honored are the so-called judges of this world. Israel cannot speak for all the judges, but those whose paths we have crossed, we found to be the most narrow-minded and biased men whom we have had the misfortune of meeting. Israel received six-month jail sentences for holding signs on the sidewalk, which is public property, in front of Stanley S. Brotman's house. The sentences handed down to Israel for standing in front of Brotman's house were sentences that should be reserved for real criminals alone, men who are a danger to society. And furthermore, many of the Members who were arrested were not even read their rights. One of the judges informed us that if we obtained a lawyer, he would be able to void the charges in the injunction against us, for he said this injunction could be shot full of holes and we could be released immediately.

We did not obtain a lawyer; we suffered it through. We wanted the blessings of our GOD first and foremost, and during the painful interim, we learned firsthand how corrupt and clannish are these pillars of justice. The reason Israel does not feel at ease in hiring a lawyer is that we do not want a man speaking YAHWEH'S Holy Words merely for pecuniary gain. This is a reproach to YAHWEH and we could not stand his presence as a false representative of YAHWEH. Originally we were unlawfully arrested for standing on the boardwalk, something that they ceased to do when they realized that they were breaking their own constitutional laws.

Concerning the truly honorable of the earth, it could only be and is True Israel, a class of people who search for Truth and find it, and when they have found it, they latch onto it for good. Israel alone knows that YAHWEH'S Purpose is established on YAHWEH'S four primary attributes of total love and justice, complete wisdom and all power. This is the type of government that the most noble of the earth seek with all their hearts and strength and life.

The rest of this chapter is in harmony with the understanding of The Restored Israel of YAHWEH and we find no fault with it.

8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering [excessive indulgence in sensual pleasure] and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
